So here we are end of September already. Back to school, grey sky, shitty rain, the heads full of good summertime memories and depressed that we have to wait 10 months to feel alive again.
Let’s refuse!
Some months ago, I asked some of you what I should do before my 40th year is over. I got some interesting suggestions (I guess you can still suggest stuff here). Also, I realized I probably won’t be able to do everything in one year, so this idea will go on…
But now it is my turn to give you all something to do once in the lifetime ; especially if you are from the Northern hemisphere…
In 2019, Catarina and I were living in Brazil. We had always celebrated New Year’s Eve in the cold of Europe or Japan. But at the end of 2019, we decided to try something different and return to Brazil after Christmas family celebrations.
From São Paulo, we went to a beach on December 31st, and enjoyed New Year’s eve with the crowd. Partying on the beach, music everywhere, fireworks, happy mood all around! The absurd feeling of jumping into the water on the 7th wave made me feel so alive, happy and euphoric. I wish everybody could experience this moment once in their life.
So, this year 2025, let’s do it together. Let’s meet on December 29/30/31st in Jurêré International in Florianopolis (Floripa) and have the best end of the year ever.
We will be a little group (8 confirmed for now), new friends from various countries, very LGBT, cocktails and beers, come with a speedo if you want. The goal is to create some kind of tribe feeling and have a good time.
Some of us have already booked our flights, and we have a house reserved for dinner (that we will make ourselves) and pre-party.
